Armoured Box Trailer!
Here's an interesting case of "Swords into Ploughshares"! A Carrier hull and bogies has been gutted and a drawbar added to make a seriously solid Box Trailer. The drawbar is made from two truck chassis rails welded together and a ring placed on the front. Unfortunately, running the solid rubber bogie wheels over rough ground had stripped the wheels bare. Bob Mosely, weren't you looking for a method to acheive this?

Let's revive this old thread on old Military Equipment gaining a new (usually Agricultural) life.
I recently spotted this Grain Bin (for feeding livestock in the paddock), which is built on a 1942 Otis Fensom/Canada 40mm Bofors frame and axles. Strangely, the wheels have been replaced with welded-on Centurion Tank road wheels.
