M38A1 Cdn2 Throttle Linkage questions..............
'Afternoon All,
Our museum's M38A1 Cdn2 Jeep has been driving us nuts with running issues after some much needed work was done on the steering assembly, and then the fuel tank and supply. The latter is causing us no end of grief, after we replaced the jury rigged carburetor and air filter with the correct parts. Once the vehicle has warmed up and starts working "under load" - going up hills, etc, it coughs, sputters, and dies, and has to be towed back - twice!!!! One of the things we have to do is finish connecting all the correct breather lines and hand-throttle linkages, and fabricate the final linkage to the now correct carburetor, to replace the temporary linkage we have to use. Would anyone have a photo or clear diagram of this final linkage (which also has the hand-throttle connected to it)? Many Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Chris Preston Ashton Armoury Museum Victoria, BC |
