Default Chrysler A57 Multibank Engine Parts

Dear All

I am embarking on the restoration of a Chrysler A57 Multibank engine for my Sherman VC Firefly.

If anyone has any parts for sale, please let me know, no matter what.

In the main, at the moment, I am looking for

1 x Cylinder Head
1 x Petrol Pump Mount
1 x Oil Filter Mount
2 x CAM Shaft
Any Manifold sets or parts - I have some, but more of any are welcome
3 x CAM Gear cover plates
1 x Radiator Header Tank
1 x Water Pump (Central Type)

This is no where near the full list, just some of the bigger lumps, as said, any other parts are welcome, and as we start putting the engine back together this list will grow.

EDIT - I will add/remove photos here as required...

Water Pump - My current version which is somewhat broken, though at worst will serve the basis of a pattern for a new one.

Default Just curious.....

What size blocks did they use????? 230 or earlier 207....... doubt they would be using the larger industrial blocks 237 / 251 / 265 .............

As if one engine was not enough gluing 5 engines together phew...... so from memory one is straight up, two are angled and two more upside down at the bottom......??? and they must require a dry sump for the engine oil..... you sure know how to pick a challenge.

Hope you get a discount when you purchase 5 engine stands!!!!!!

You will be posting pictures in due course?????

There may be one stored outside just outside Ottawa....condition unknown.

Good Luck

The layout is one vertical, two at 45 degrees and two at 5 degrees, none are hanging down.

Here’s a picture of one of these engines (in fact it is Adrian’s, IIRC) - just so you know you need to shout out when you see one of these sitting somewhere ;-)

Also see http://www.theshermantank.com/about/...sler-a57-page/ for more pictures and technical information.
