Default New books from Service Publications

Service Publications is pleased to announce the release of two new titles in the "Weapons of War " series of informative booklets.

"The Sexton in Canadian Service" examines the development and use of one of the Second World War's most effective Self-Propelled guns. Marrying the ubiquitous 25-pdr medium gun to the reliable M4 chassis (in this case the Grizzly variant) gave the Commonwealth armies a formidable weapon which continued in service well past the Korean conflict.

"Engineer Assault Boats in Canadian Service" is the first ever study of these important craft. Rubber assault boats and Folding Boat Equipment are just two of the boats examined in this booklet.

In keeping with the series format both books consist of 24 pages of informative text (averaging 6,500 words), 22+ illustrations, many of which have never seen previously published, and a set of technical drawings. Price is CDN$9.95.

Clive, I just got an email from a "Girlz Gone Wild" producer. There is interest in producing a Gracies video. Will this affect your copyright?

PS, if we agree to their terms and conditions, we had better get the filming over before GWB visits...

At this point Jiffy, your reputation can only be enhanced by dallying with the young ladies at Gracies

I take back my Pure Genius comment... at least you could have airbrushed Alex out and inserted Moi in his place...

Clive....
That was a masterfull cover for the new book, and to airbrush me out and Jif in,no one has a good pix of him...all the ones around are of him withhis eye's closed, head back, mouth open catching flies....

I don't think that would be an appropriate replacement shot of that wonderful photo of moi.....

Clive...that layout would make a wonderfull ice breaker with the "Gracie's Girls" at the next gatherup...
I'm sure that would get some favourable reviews and maybe some excited ladies around our table.....
I don't know if I could stand the excitement ,but I'll try....
