Default New Hampshire CMP Barn 2013

Hi All

Well as Bob suggested it was time for me to start a new thread following up on New Hampshire CMP Barn 2011- 2012 HUP Overhaul .

I looked this weekend and I have had a CMP web site http://canadianmilitarypattern.com/ for 9 years where I have posted information on my CMPs and other related information.

That site has grown from having only a few pages and to over 100 with some 4000 photos as it has grown it has become hard too find stuff.

With this in mind I just did a rework of the home page regrouping the pages by general headings. The other major change was to add to the home page a Google Search Feature hopefully this will make the whole web site more useable to the CMP hobby.

As time allows I'll be revising the pages which are more heavily traffic and trying to improve on the photo identifications so that they will search more easily.

Take a look at the new home page and let me know what I need to fix or improve.

My actual shop time out in the barn is not really focusing on the CMPs this winter has I am restoring my 1949 Lincoln.

One of the things that I will try to do as people, particularly people restoring CMPs, ask questions is to go into my web site and add text so that the search feature will kick out useful information.

Cheers Phil

Default If you have checked the site before

Hi All

One of the things I forgot to mention is if you have been into my web site before you may have to hit the reload button on your browser bar to get it to load the revised page.

I couldn't figure out why some my pages didn't change after I had loaded new information. Then I discovered that it was bring up what was in the buffer on my own computer. Don't know if this will be a problem for anybody else.

Cheers Phil

Default Drop me a line when your going to be in the area.

Hi Bob

Drop me a line when you know you will be in the area and we'll set a time for you to drop by and I'll send you directions.

That offer is to any other CMP fanatics who have travel plans to come to New Hampshire.

Also if you are interested in Military Vehicle Rallies put the last weekend in July which includes a Saturday the traditional date for the Weare Summery Rally. This year that is July Thursday 25 through Saturday 27 2013.

Default Vehicule rally and invitation

Thanks for your gracious invitation.

I will miss the Weare rally again this year, i will be attending the Canadian senior military staff course in Toronto in July.

August will be better for me. Wondering if they will let me go thru the border with my CMP15A in full military configuration ?

I have visited your great web site and it was instrumental in my decision to buy a CMP truckl.

Cheers !

Bob

Default August is fine

Hi Bob

Glad you are enjoying your CMP and pleased that my website and I'm sure MLU have played a part in your enjoyment.

Not sure about the boarder crossing, bunch of guys from one of the Iltis groups came down en-mass a few years ago and I heard they did have problems, anybody got any details on that trip.

As to dropping by as I said just let me know when you might be in the area and we'll set something up.

Cheers Phil

Default Information on CMP Wiring Harness

Hi All

I've just added a page to my web site on CMP Wiring Harnesses in particular My HUP which is a late Pattern 13. But as front harness is common across all the different Pattern 13 Chevy CMPs it may be of help.

Please ask questions or ask for explanation of individual photos.

I'm also working on improving the site search feature.

Cheers Phil
