Default Carrier Track tensioner

Hi I am looking for a Carrier track tensioner tool. If some one has one and is willing to part with it let me know. Thanks! Frank

Default Snail . . . vs shepherds crook . . .

Canada, 1940 Universal Carrier 100737 ... C01UC 100737B and C
Cam, track tightening.

This one made in 1944.

Ideally you would want to have Bar, 24 inch steel, some call it a Tommy bar, part number C01UC 10073. Note the unique carrier parts number?

Entirely satisfactory and hats off to John for doing that.

Does anyone happen to know what part number and country of origin that style of track tightening cam came from?

No idea what they copied, but it has more satisfactory placement of the holes to allow full track adjustment compared to some of the originals that I have used over the years.
