Default P W Japanese trucks

Long ago in the distant past i was given a batch of photos of PW japanese trucks, whilst these are not really my scene i did keep them because of the resemblence to WW2 US built trucks. They have been hidden in the back of a cabinet for years and whist sorting yestrday i came across them, now i have no idea who took them or when so cannot at this time give any credit but as the forum is now well international a few members will i expect appreciate the views. One or two did appear in Barts Military Vehicles Directory where extra info can be obtained.

The first four are a 2.5 ton Isuzu 6x6 with and without winch clearly based on the GMC 6x6

found a couple more of those PW Japanese trucks, a Mitsubishi wrecker and a Hino water tanker. Both types obviously based on US designs

Post Mudguards

Interesting to see the design of the mudgurds, almost always the design of the smaller US line of vehicles, the 2.5 ton looks like Dodge 3/4 ton the 6 ton even could be old stock GMC mudguards.
