Hi Max,

I was wondering how you were getting on with that one. At a steam rally last summer, I saw a restored one and had a chat to the owner, not sure if it was the same engine though.

Default the engine

We have'nt started on the engine as yet except for freeing it up and it does turn over. Still on the scrounge for a water pump and fan and a couple of other bits and pieces that have been taken over the years. The chap that is restoring it can remember these trucks working around the wharfs in Sydney before the war carting wool. The engine in this one is a white and poppee.

Hi Max
Gosh I wouldn't be parking that nice old truck in that barn. Don't you Aussies have any building codes? The first good snow fall would have that sucker on the ground. Maybe just keep Keith's stuff in there.
Cheers
Barry

Hi Barry
Ahhh that would be the heavy white stuff you Canadians have all over the place at the moment. Too bad.

A side shot showing the type of wood, which is a local iron bark.
