Area code 705 is north of Toronto, and that number could be a cell located in Collingwood.

The guy's name is Chad Marshal (from the ad). There was a long time CMP collector in Ontario named Peter Marshal. I haven't heard anything from him in quite some time. Perhaps this is his son disposing of the collection? Surely that many carriers and parts are a collection and not a farm find.

Default My posted reply

Chad Marshall is the nephew of Sandy Marshall who passed recently
( I think) and operated together with Sandy from a Hardware Shop
location near Collingwood and attended most of our OMVA Shows.
They always brought a pile of rare and rusty carrier parts and sold
quite a few. Both pleasant people to talk and deal with.
I drove by their old location recently and found it empty
Sandy and Chad were at our last show in the spring and poor Sandy had a difficult time of it but talked to those he met and carefully observed
proceedings.

Default I'm wrong ( I'm glad)

Sandy is happily still with us I'm advised. We hope to see

him at the 22 Oct. Show. Chad too.
