Vickers light tank. But the same or very similar style as the Dingo.
Were they common between types? This would make sense but remembering they were a British design I find this common sense approach unlikely....... |

Without checking the number, it looks like the block for a Daimler Dingo. The prefix, TL (Tanks, Light) may indicate that this block originates from the Vickers Light Tank MkIV, but the postwar date would still be OK for a Dingo as parts were still being made into the mid Fifties.

Vision Block
The Dingo slot to take a vision block would appear to be 8 1/4 inches wide. This block measures 8 3/8 overall width. The tabs on the sides measure 1/2 wide , as does the slot from a Dingo..... confused?

Hi Andrew,
Just checked the Dingo block number and it is TL935A, being made in 1955 and basically a WW2 design is interesting and may be a clue.
