Default Movie mistakes

OK, the wife was out with the girls seeing a girly movie so I was home on my own, so I put on the 1968 film Battle of Britain. Some wonderful stuff there but of course there are many many things not right.

Some of them can be seen here: Goofs but it fails to say much about the vehicle errors such as that old one, the US half tracks playing German vehicles. There are a few Dodge Beeps with the Germans in 1939 Calais and a lot more.

This is not to take anything away from some of the most spectacular flying scenes ever shot of course, even if almost every aircraft, both British and German is powered by a Rolls Royce Merlin.

What are some of the errors you have seen in Feature films?

How about the three C15TAs in road convoy with the German landing craft?

If you are really a dedicated nit-picker there is a site dedicated to movie mistakes (most have to do with continuity such as actors having a red shirt on and in the next scene it is blue).

Every movie ever made has a huge list for your amusement and this mob produce the list before it even hits the main theatre. Can't remember the site name but should not be too hard to Google.

The old black and whites were pretty bad and you find plenty of mistakes. A couple I like are the Zulus attacking Rorke's Drift while wearing watches and the Boeing 707 taking off behind the sailing ships arriving with the missionaries in "Hawaii".
