David,

A while ago, Arnotts biscuits (makers of Tim Tams), were stocked by Sainsburys, the whole range inc Tim Tams. My guess was that the Aus $ v. £ Sterling exchange rate was favourable at the time, making it feasable to import.

Have you tried the Anzac biscuits in the supermarkets at present, 99p a packet and genuine Oz made?

Richard

YUM ... pour a little melted Tim-Tams on that pancake and my endorphins will keep me happy for a week ( I'll definately need to buy a bigger frying pan though ... and someone to lift it, of course, due to arthritis wrists : )

Hmmmm ... I wonder if I can wok it?

(Is that Betty's recipe? and will she send it to me?)

Ah ... yum. That's just how Mom used to fry fish Garry Floured and fried ... that is when she wasn't doing the boiled sunfish, onions and potatoes which stunk up the house forever, but tasted SO good! She often "snared" the fish for our dinner I miss my Mom's cooking ... and her ... a couple of days ago was the 16th anniversary of her sudden death from heart-attack at age 61 ... maybe Mom and my sister Susie are having a fishfry up there, for the good old days I like to think so.

Never ate catfish that I can recall though, just too ugtly for my "taste"

(ARF-N-ARF back to my beloved SHAD ... )

YES ... the truth is, is that timing and distance are obstacles right now ... meanwhile, I have Vegemite ... and still have some Billy Tea left from Saleman Bob that'll keep me happy until I can arrive at Master Skag's with my skillet and knock him out for a while so's that I can raid his freezer and rescue the Tim Tams ... I may even bring him a in case he's been a good boy and saved some of those tastey TT's for me

Default Pancake!

That looks like a Teaxs size pancake Norm! Or as Richard would know, a Stuffed Paratha from the local Indian restaurant!

Don't worry, Yappy

Just heard Jon has swapped his C15A for a long wheelbase version so he can keep you supplied with your favourite treat:

Well Master Keefy Old Boy ... you're as ish as ever I see ... but you're flagging a bit, eh? How come you didn't put the Arnotts trailer on Master Skags truck? (that NOT his truck in your photo???)

You Aussies give me ideas of an entrepreneurial nature ... flogging TIM TAMS in Canada! (my selfish motivation to always have a supply on hand!) ... gee, if I had the money I'd even be tempted to open an Aussie Store and always be sure that TIM TAMS and ANZAC Bikkies and BILLY TEA were ongoind necessary staples! (I hear Vegemite can't get through customs Luckily Vegemite sits next to Marmite in our big grocers stores here

Yappy

Well, it's because Jon has a 101" wheelbase truck and the body was for a 158" version, that's why

I like your entrpreneurial approach too - you'll make your fortune there. Go Yappy!

Ever hear of artistic licence?

You only like my entrepreneurial spirit because it would like to flog (thereby promote) Aussie peoples/places and Aussie made products like DVD's and VEGEMITE

Default Saleswoman Kartmann

Is there no end to this continual poaching of Salesman Bob's territory. There is only room for one salesperson on this forum, AND I WAS HERE FIRST.

Then I shall promote SALESMAN BOB as provider/supplier and take a commission ... I'll even take it on contingency

..frying pans are hard metal objects and inflexible, so watch out for that flying frying pan! Karmen has a good aim, and it is also transcontinental!

Sort of compelling, like DaVinci's famous Maxa Lisa masterpiece.
