Default David Hayward, RIP

It is with deep regret, I have to inform you all, that one of our stalwart forum members, David Hayward, has passed away following a sudden heart attack and several days illness.
David was a mine of information on Ford and GM products from the war years and had researched the subject deeply. He was also co-editor of Vintage Roadscene magazine, and encouraged me to write a series of articles for it. David will also be remembered for the book, Pearsons of Liverpool on their warwork.

RIP David

Quite true Robert. I had actually sent him an article last week, for his magazine and had a cheery email response on Friday, sadly this must have been shortly before he had his heart attack.

Richard,

Very sad to hear about David passing away.

He was one of our prominent Resident Historians and he will be sorely missed!

Default RIP David

I was fortunate to briefly meet David back in 2003 when I visited England. His enthusiasm and knowledge will be greatly missed.

He was a mine of information and will be sadly missed. My condolences to the family.
