Default Burma 25 pdrs

This was recently posted on "WW2 Burma Research" FBpage, by the son of the man on the back row, left. His son thinks his dad was REME, but he sure seems part of this 25pdr group. Did REME attach gun tech's to ARTY units..? I know we are a Canadian focused group...but Burma was very much a Commonwealth undertaking.
Mk1 guns, I think.
BTW. This page is a goldmine of newly, family-posted photo's, of the Burma campaign .
