Default Proposed BEF 1941/2 and Z + 27 programme

Does anyone have any more information on the British Army Z + 27 programme of Summer 1940? There was talk of invading France again by December 1941 with another BEF, possibly of the 27 Divisions that were in the UK at the time plus the "Z" figure being what was required on top...55 Divisions would have been the total available I believe from what i could understand. This required 250,000 vehicles! I still find it amazing that even with the Battle of Britain raging serious discussions were being made in London about an invasion of Europe which would have been in December 1941 as proposed initially, then spring 1942.

Default Balkans

The need to send an Expeditionary Force to Greece diverted the forces that would have been utilised.
