My new book comes out today, and deals with personnel and vehicle reinforcements and the combat capability of the First Canadian Army in North West Europe, 1944-1945.

It provides detail on the structure of the First Canadian Army and how its doctrine, combat strength and ability to constantly re-build itself led to victory.

Large portions of it deal with Cdn Armour in the last year of war, specifically the 25th Armoured Delivery Regiment and all its squadrons. It is also very detailed with regard to AFV repair and vehicle replacement.

Hardcover goes on sale today. (The paperback will be cheaper- lol)

Unfortunately Amazon says it cannot be shipped to the UK.

A pity as have been privately looking at 25 CAD in respect delivery of my Sherman Firefly to 21st CAR, so no doubt this will be a useful reference.

EDIT - I would much prefer hardcopy of this type of publication.

Some pics of the books to show the cover and the table of contents. Certainly looks like a very interesting book.

It can be bought direct from the publisher. No added value offered by the distributor if they don’t ship globally.
