Post M38A1 Jeep 4x4 truck Wiper motor question

My 1953 M38A1 has two different wiper motors. Both are vacuum driven however the drivers side on has a smaller hand operated handle, more like a thumb sized handle. It also has a seperate switch on the motor that you pull out to the right of the handle.

The other motor looks like the one's in the operators manual...long handle and no switch. Identicle to the ones on my 67 CDN2.

Any ideas where or what vehicle this odd one may have originated on before coming to rest on my windshield?
