Default Imperial

Since this is a forum dealing with the Empire/Commonwealth, I thought I would make David's heart go pitter/patter with a delivery shot of not less than 8 Chevrolet Imperial sedans as Taxi cabs in Karlskrona, Sweden in 1939.
As a side note, I believe these Imperials were delivered in Holland, Belgium and Switzerland at least and many soldiered on in their original form or as Beute vehicles.

Default Heart went patter/pitter!

What a sight! We know that these Imperials were assembled in Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, India at least. There were three different types although there could have been six!

STANDARD FRONT SUSPENSION
INDEPENDENT FRONT SUSPENSION
LIGHT TRUCK FRONT AXLE

with possibly in each case an option of with/without division. There were also the 1937/8 GMC-built General Motors Cabs Models O-37 and O-38 which used the same bodyshell...they featured in period movies in 'YELLOW CAB' livery.
