Default Transit chest/Artillery tractor hasps

This is the special hardware you will need to make up any of the various British/Canadian transit chests. This style hardware was used on things like the Enfield sniper chests, the Cno7 chests, the Bren and for the Bren 100 round drum chest, Vickers and Lewis, and post war even the Cdn 81mm mortar chests used them. They were also used on some military vehicles such as the artillery tractors. These were salvaged from Canadian Bren chests and have been lightly sandblasted and lightly painted. They come with about 2 dozen or so slot drive screws to give your project the true old-time appearance. If you are using the hasps on a vehicle, then you won't need the screws. Price is $30 a set (+ postage of course) and I have a fair number of these. PM me if you want one or more sets.

Default Nice goods...

You know Rob, the boxes are nothing to make if you're any good with wood. It's the hardware that has always been the bugger....and here you are! Good show! The man to talk to. Good luck.....Robert

Harry
Yes they are. I am away on vacation until next week. Shoot me a pm then.

When I fly from here Sunday in the afternoon, and during the drive home from Winipeg to Shilo, I will have experienced a drop of almost 60 degrees Celsius.

Just to echo Rob's offer, I have similar CNo.7 rifle chest hardware for sale but not in as good condition. The difference is the length of the strap on the hinges.
