Not quite Europe but the London victory parade in 1946, i placed the photo here as i could not think of another thread for it. It is the subject at hand so feel thats OK, one interesting thing on a further photo from the rear the 25 pdr guns appear to be early models with no flash eliminator on the barrel i had always thought that these had all been converted and later production guns were factory fitted so by 1946 it seems a bit odd

Default Fgt

H 5558176 to 5558375 supplied under demand SM 2646?
The official photo is in the IWM Kidbrooke collection. I assume that various copies were made therefore?

Default Canadian CMP FAT

Old post revisited!

It seems that the FAT in the photo above in Les's post 11 (with the the US 551 landing ship behind) is the only photo I've seen from WW2 showing camo colours other than a basis overall colour on a late type CMP '13 Cab' FAT. It looks to be in two colour scheme of SCC2 Brown with either SCC.1A Dark Brown or SCC.14 'Black' on the upper surfaces, which relates to a circa 1942-43 paint scheme that carried on post D-Day if there was no need to repaint the vehicle. So when did the British first get deliveries of the later type Chev and Ford CMP '13 Cab' FAT, which was the 7B2 body (if on a Ford)? Certainly it must have been after the North African Campaign

Sadly the web shows very few wartime photos of these; mostly preserved, so and other later type FATs in two colour camo would be nice to see.
