You could try Legacy Auto Carriers, I believe they are based in Nova Scotia.
I used their services back in 2018 with my M1009 CUCV shipped from Calgary to Ontario. Price was quite reasonable back then, not sure now. My bill was around $1200. I believe they do coast to coast shipping including USA. Might be cheaper and easier to drive down and pick up yourself if you have time and resources to do so. Chris

For the M151A2, any full size pickup (preferably a 3/4 ton) with a car hauler will suffice. You can rent just the trailer if you have access to a truck. The M151 is relatively light. For the M416 trailer, you can haul that behind just about any reasonably full size vehicle, although you will want a set of the magnetic lights with a normal trailer plug. Just make sure the wheel bearings were packed sometime in the past decade, and the tires are in good shape.
The M151 is around 12 feet, and the trailer has a 6 foot box. Theoretically, if you were to put the M151 all the way to the front of the trailer, removed the hitch and arms form the trailer, and blocked the trailer up so it was right behind the M151, you could fit both on an 18 foot car hauler, but it would be tight. You could try it with the trailer at front, and the hitch over the car haulers hitch, then the M151 with the engine pointing forward on the trailer, but you would have to make sure you have sufficient tongue weight. On import from the US, you have to give US customs 3 days notice of the serial number and provide ownership/transfer documents to them upon crossing. The M151A2 is listed as a controlled good believe it or not (Demil code Q) but with the age, it is not likely to give you a problem. Last edited by rob love; 15-11-23 at 20:28. |

Thank you Rob. Might need to make two trips one for the jeep and another for the trailer. I was surprised that the hauling companies I contacted would not ship a trailer. I only have a Dodge Caravan not exactly good for hauling lol.

You could use the caravan to tow the 1/4 ton trailer, but I would not reccomend it for towing the m151a2. Nor would the owners manual.

I would as Rob suggests put the Mutt on a Uhaul trailer, however, to negate a second trip and because it is my style I would first drag the trailer to a tow truck company and pay them to rig and hoist and flip the trailer upside down and then plonk in on top of some two by sixes put across the width of the truck box with cleats attached to secure them from sideways movement and secure it down and then back up to the trailer and load that. My reason is because is it gives you more wiggle room to best balance the Mutt on the trailer fore and aft so that you have the best tongue weight on the truck and don't loose steering function. and remove or robustly everything that will flap in the wind during the trip. you would be amazed at the damage 2 inches of loose strap can do against paint over time. I have learned such lessons the hard way. My 2 cents worth

You could also try Uship, bidders will send you a price.
It can be cheaper if you can bypass brokers though and hook up directly with a trucker.
