Interesting windshield in the photo. Was that a standard Sherman thing, or incorporated from a Stuart? We have a couple of those kicking around the museum.

Yes, correct for that Sherman. Heated, it plugs into the dash panel. When not in use it stows front centre between driver and co-driver. There are excellent reasons to have the shield with the canvas hood in place during cooler weather days.

That particular windscreen grew legs and disappeared. Carol is now looking for a replacement.

We have several here, likely from Bill Gregg. I have seen two of the windshields and one more with the canvas cover. If I had to guess, I thought they were for the Stuart. Perhaps they fit the Grizzly as well?

Default One of these windscreens showed up at Weare

Hi All

There was one of these (or similar units) windscreen units that showed up at the Weare Rally Flea Market in New Hampshire last summer. If anybody is interested I can try and find a photo and vendor contact info.
