Not your cup of tea? Well, what about a WW II TANK!

Default Good Eye, Hanno

Hanno,

Perhaps you have also seen these vehicles, the Sexton, anyway, up for sale in Army Motors for some months.

Default no sell

Bidding went up to US $7,300, but did not meet the reserve.
Hmm, I'd be tempted to sell my F15A at that price

What did you expect McSpool, its not a jeep, jimmy or Dodge and so NAPA don't have new parts or panels, hence NFI.

Do try and keep up, I won't always be here to guide you.

McStolly, that is exactly why I was surprised that several people were bidding up to a respectable price.
Would the fact that parts could not be acquired from the FLAPS led to a high investment and thus reserve price?

Default we know this truck

This 1942 Chevrolet CMP 15cwt GS Truck used to be owned by Terry Johns, who put it up for auction on eBay a year ago - see the thread C15A up for auction at eBay.

After being put up for auction a second time, it sold for US $ 8,000, and was bought by forum member Gary Archer - see the thread Info Needed On CMP C15A - who has now put it up for auction on eBay again.

Here's hoping this CMP ends up at a(nother) good home.

HTH,
Hanno

Sean

I noticed in one of the pictures of the rear of this truck that it appears to have a winch.

"Buy it now" price was US $8,800. An offer of US $2,000 (cheeky!) was declined so it remains unsold...
C'mon guys, there must be a good home for this C15A somewhere in the USA?!?

If the tires shown on this vehicle are any indication of "Attention to detail",I wonder what is hidden that we can't see...
No two tires that I can see are matching, and look like they have had a hard life already...
Shiney paint can hide a lot of trouble...
