Default T16 monster on e-bay

See this item. Item number 4578773508. E-bay is always such a good source for erroneous information!

Question What's he done to the driver's controlls?

Hi there

It looks like the new driver's position in dead center, instead of on the right.

How's that been accomplished?

Steve

Vehicle Description

The Universal Carrier, T16, is a modification of the British Bren gun carrier. These carriers are full-track, high-speed cargo carriers, designed to transport personnel, ammunition, and accessories. They were produced for the British army only. The Universal Carrier, T16, is a modification of the Bren gun carrier, widely used by the British and Commonwealth army during World War II.

The British Universal Carrier, to give this vehicle its proper name, was the most widely used of all AFVs during the war. Popularly known as the Bren Carrier, it came in several versions. The airborne version was the Bren Mk1. It mounted a .303 Bren LMG and had a crew of 3.

This T-16 has been modified and is an excellent driver. Modifications include a roll cage and 5 point harness for driver protection. The engine is a Ford big block and a standard transmission. The radiator has been replaced with a large capacity Ford truck radiator. New mufflers have been installed so she runs nice a quiet. This tank is very fast and can traverse almost all terrain. Runs and drives fine. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. The upper armor has been removed so the T-16's weight is around six thousand pounds.

Transports easily on a tilt bed car hauler. If your looking for the best toy for off-roading, this is definately it!!
