Default Missing 3" mortar carriers

Hello again

I have been told that sometime after 1943, Australia sent all 400 odd 3" mortar carriers to Nationalist China.

These carriers were sent by ship from an unknown port in Australia and i am led to beleive that the ship was sunk en route to China.

Does anyone know what happened to the ship?

Can anyone provide any more details to this story?

Thanks
Glenn.

Default Australian LP Carrier in Chinese service

Glenn,

See the thread "Australian LP Carrier in Chinese service" on the Old Forum. It seems both Mortar and MG Carriers were provided to the Chinese.
