Default New restauration object.

Hello MLU members,

Before we start the restoring of our F60B, a help question.
Who can help us to find a 40mm Bofor gun plus spare barrel.
Many thanks for any tip/help to find one.

Mvg. Dirk

Dirk

Congratulations. Wow, another great CMP find and it is noted your latest 2 are Fords. Sorry we don't have any Bofors stuff hidden away for you around here.

It looks like Stefan has to find some more hours in his day now. Actually the F60B makes the perfect family vehicle for him, everybody can sit up front.

Brian

Default Bent on destruction

As the poster says

What a fantastic find! And so intact - even the data plates - magnificent! I was interested to note it says cab 41 not 43.

The poster below is one I photographed some years ago at Brian Gough's.

(At the time of posting the image had not loaded - hopefully it will soon.)

Hi Guys, thanks for your nice comment and helpfull advice.
The F60B pic came from an old friend of me (Cees Verschure).
He got'm from his father in law, many years ago.
The data of the Canadian Liberation Parade: was May 1945.
Just after our Liberation Day on the Rijnsburgerweg te Leiden,
Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands.

Dirk,

What a beauty! Where did you get that from? Here in Australia there were never any F60B's although we had our own version. I donot know of any in private hands though, or in any museums.

Attached are some photos of our locally produced GMH version.

Fords to follow.

Regards Rick.

Default CMP & AA Gun

Boy oh Boy!

They sure do look great. Goes to show that there IS a way to improve a CMP, add a 40mm Gun to its tail.

To have one of those must be SUPER rare. I'm envious+++

Post lots of progress photos please Dirk.

I cant wait to see this one under way.
