Default Wanted, kit to complete Fox stowage

As the fasted growing "For Sale or Trade" web site for military-related items, I submit the following:

Wanted:

Case for British/Canadian sighting telescope as in the attached picture. Filled would do as well.

Satchel, Anti-Gas (Anti-Gas Valise).

Bren cleaning rod, 'D' Handle type.

Thompson Machine Gun Spares and Tools Box

Oil Can, 1 Quart.

Any help much appreciated,

Bruce

Default See eBay

Pinky,

Please see the picture of the item on eBay. I know that you would rather have the one that is in my modest collection - and I have the thingmie that goes inside also. The item opictured ( and mine ) does not look exactly like the one you have posted.

For you I will make a special deal ...

Default Tease

Stewart:

I was about to offer a sacrifuce to the Gods on your behalf. It took three readings of the description to realize this case is 14" long and the one I need would have to be at least 17".

So no virgin into the volcano, a beer in the fridge for effort though.

As to the thingie in the basement, perhaps a visit here to see what bobbles I have that may similarly enthral you?

Default My Thingmie is 14 3/8 inches long ...

... so it is too small for you - but just right for me. Well, I think it is - I am not really sure what it is for.

I shall bring it with me when I get down to see you next. I enjoy these getaways to see how the other restoration folks are getting on.

With a Gun Club work party on the 6th, and a weekend hunting for militaria near Montreal on the 12/13th - it may be a few weekends tho'.

Please remind me to ask you about a 2" mortar tube end cover. I am trying to reproduce one, but have only a few pix from the net to work with.

Default Case is for...

...a Sighting Scope No.22 used on Bofors guns. I'm equally eager to find a 2" cap. I have a pattern, the hardest part to reproduce being the brass buckles. There is an outfit in the UK, 'Pegasus', that has talked of repro-ing these. They do good work, the last thing from them being canvas for PIATs.

Default Thanks

This looks like the Australian version of the one I'm looking for. They seem to use a tapered case rather than the stepped British & Canadian ones. I shall be watching this, thank you.
