Default CMP's looking for owners

A Blitz on the AULRO forums (Australian Land Rover Owners) sparked a number of blitz sightings where vehicles need rescuing.

If anybody is interested the thread is here.

Default Interesting thread

The pic of the C15A is Euan's and that's his Grandmother.

This one is interesting...

Looks like a No9 FGT cab on a F60L chassis.

Default Further to the FGT

Is anyone over in the West familiar with this one?

Perhaps someone can take a picture of the interior of the left-hand side to show whether it has the 'glovebox'. If so it would then be good to rub back the front shell for the ARN.

Phil has been trying to find a buyer for his Blitz Tipper here on MLU for some time. See his posts Here, Here, and even trade it for a Land Rover!

If you really MUST see the ad on AULRO Marketplace, go HERE.

Tony non registered folk cannot see the pics as we do not have permission to view them so this is the reason why some of us would like the photos shown here. Your link will not work for me nor will the other links either.

I think he's a Southpaw - he has the 26oz bottle of ale in his right hand and the opener in his left.

Almost right. He has a canteen and is opening the cap to have a drink.

NOTE: I did not say what is in the canteen

This model was done off an original photo taken in 1945 of an RAAF works Squadron building an airfield on Labuan Island, Borneo in the Pacific. I realised when the model was finished that it is in fact missing only half of the drivers side mudguard.

The only thing different is the figure as the photo showed the driver in the cab and at the time of building this model I did not have a drivers figure but I did have the Commander of a Matilda tank spare so he got altered to fill the roll.
