Thumbs up #12 F60l

I photographed this truck a while back with the view of buying for parts. However I reckon she is too good to part out...
I have heard it is coming up for auction 21st April 2007. I intend to attend, and willing to bid on anyone's behalf (and store if necessary). PM me for info or more photos...

Default Serials

If that reads 14494 it's the earliest cab 12 F60L I have on my database. The only earlier cab 12 I have is 12758, a FGT in Queensland.

Be interesting to see what it makes - the dash is particularly nice.

Post Serial

Confirm 14494
I have 2x photos of the ARN (one from each side)
Maybe those of you with photoshop may be able to decipher it?

Did you not see Serial 12489 in Howard's other find?

Post Sold!

Truck sold on Saturday among spirited bidding.
Going to a happy South Australian collector, who intends to build a portee.
I bought it on behalf of the new owner so I don't feel comfortable revealing too much, but she sold for "very good money".
Maybe Salesman Bob can check with the new owner if it is OK to release details?
HH
In the meanwhile, it looks great at my place!

Hi Howard
Looks like it all worked out well. Hopefully we'll be doing a field trip to Don's place on Thursday where I'll be camera happy again. I'll ask him about photograph release as I do with everyone, especially as some like their privacy. I'll find out when he's heading to your place, maybe I can field trip with him to you.
Bob

Careful, Howard... if you show Bob around pretty soon the centre of the cab 12 universe will migrate to the Adelaide Hills...

ah but Yass is where they all are, tucked away from prying eyes.
Although salesman bob has had a partial private tour not all has been revealed.

I haven't been cheching things lately, if that was really me posting as Max I would've listed a whole lot more, that really was him I know it is hard for you all to believe, but unbeknown to you all out there he admitted to having eyes larger than is belly when he has been out there gathering and has decided that he really has to relieve the farm of some of this junk.

Default Re. Secrets and Max's Clearance Sale

Hi Howard and Keefy
I'm getting a bit worried about you two. It is sounding more and more like "I'll show you mine if you show me yours".

Kathy - what is the date for the clearance sale? Once he realises some of his assets he can spend some money on his really secret passions of needle-point, crochet, tatting and quilting.
