Default WW I Medals

Gents:

Any experts out there with regard to WW 1 medals? I recently came into posession of three medals that belonged to my grandfather. All are engraved with his service # and name. All I know that he was at Vimy and fought with the 2nd Canadian Division (Infantry).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Al Davis

included is a "famous" photo that included my grandfather at Vimy. He is in the lower rigtht corner of the photo.

Hi Al,

Here is a link to the Veterans Affairs website. It has good info on the medals.

Jason:

Thanks. That site cleared things up in a hurry.

Medals-left to right- Victory Medal, British War Medal, and 1914-1915 Star.

Much appreciated

Al Davis
