Default Tough Hummer

I found this video on the net and thought I would mention it. It shows off a new Hummer ,armoured, along the lines of the Nyala, and presents it with some humour in South African traffic !

Default Top vehicle

Hi Bob

Now that is what I call an all purpose vehicle, I could see a use here for it, but I could not afford it. If what they say is true it would be just the thing for our troops in Afghanistan againt road side bombs.

Typical Top Gear production, no expenses spared. Crush a couple of cars, blow up some more? Sure, no probs! Great TV.

It actually IS a military vehicle. The South Africans developed mine resistant vehicles for their own wars. They are now prime export vehicles to the countries who previously focussed on the Cold War scenario.

I think you will find that the words NYALA and RG32 or RG31 have some relationship to it, same lineage.

Exactly why I like Top Gear with those three buffoons. Shame they have tried to do a spin off show in the US of A which is pathetic by comparison.

Top gear is such a wonderfully irreverent show. simply the best car show around...and superbly entertaining..and oh so marvelously non PC.... such shows simply cannot be made in North America...where drivel like "diving television" is produced...a show which requires a home defibralator if you watch it to prevent death by boredom

If you dont have BBC canada channel, lots of segments avial on youtube and elsewhere.

couple of my favourite segments are making campers out of cars, and cars into boats..,
also how they tried to destroy the toyota hilux..and buying an italian super car for under 10K...and of course driving to the North pole...which due to global warming..you cant do anymore.

Default Top gear in australia

Hi

When they tried the Top Gear show in Australia it was such a bore, I just could not get into it and could not watch it. It is definately a Pommy only show and great to watch on BBC.
