Default Book - “The Winged Wheel Patch”

Hello all,
I am looking to purchase a copy of “The Winged Wheel Patch: A History of the Canadian Military Motorcycle and Rider” by Ken Messenger and Max Burns, published in 1993.

Does anyone have a used copy available for sale?

Thank-you!

There is a used on on amazon for $138, which seems to be just about as cheap as it gets for this book. Otherwise they start at $200 for a new copy and go way up from there.

Default Thank-you.

Thank-you to both of you for that information.

In a used bookstore somewhere, in a sleepy little town, there is bound to be one collecting dust with a price tag that is a mere fraction of that but I will likely grow old before I stumble across it!

Cheers!

Just an aside. I helped Ken research the book. We travelled to interview ex-military riders, and I assisted him with digging out images and captioning some. Ken was keenly interested in the military motorcycle in all its shapes and forms.

Maybe Bill you might facilitate a meeting between Kolten and others at some time either in the flesh or virtually?

Default Thank-you.

Gents,

Thank-you all for your assistance! Patience paid off - thanks to a lead by a member of the forum, I was able to find and purchase a signed copy for $20 through “The Canadian Military History Library” group on Facebook. I highly recommend the group to anyone who is tempted by good deals on hard to find military books - who here isn’t?!

All the best.
