Default Muck Shifting for King George

A small book by Maurice H Saunders which is subtitled “The Bulldozer goes to War”. This book was first published in 1987 and is now out of print. I ordered this book from my local library on inter library loan, due to an administrative SNAFU it took six months to arrive – and was read within 3 hours!
The book deals with some history of the use of dozers and excavators in World War 2 together with the development of the Centaur Dozer and other experiments with Mechanical Equipment [e.g part filling Muirhill dumper wheels with water to aid traction]

Will post some snippets from this over the next few days either in this thread or an existing thread where relevant
