Default A New One On Me - M37 Ford For Sale

According to the ad in La Revue Gratuite from Quebec, you can pick up a M37 Ford from the '40s.

See ad at http://www.revuegratuite.com/Ford/M37/R0003083/

"camion de l'armée des années 40, moteur Ford V8 flat head refait à neuf, transmission manuelle, idéal pour faire chasse-neige, (pas de moteur arrière pour blower) 1 550$, Gilles"

rough translation: Army truck from the '40s, flathead Ford V8 rebuild, manual transmission, ideal for snow plowing etc...no rear blower motor.

Call Gilles and fork over $1550 and this rare M37 is yours!

Default Obviously a CMP......

...... so when do we pick it up......?

Looks like the modified CMP snoblowers that most large Quebec municipalities had in the 1950s..... if the rebuilt Ford engine is correct.... and is recent and not 1955...... it may not be a bad deal..... seems to still have the lifting rings on the front axle......

So $1000 for the engine.....some spare power train parts...... the rest at $150 a ton for scrap steel.........probably sell for $1299.99

Lots of free parking at the barn.

I paraphrase the ad as saying "If you have any plans of restoring it or using this thing to blow snow you will need to figure out what motor you need to buy for the rear/blower, then buy it and install it. Expect to spend a bundle to make it blow."
Anyone buying it will need to adjust their offer accordingly.

Default snowblower

I wonder if this would be a Sicard conversion? A CMP would make a good blower chassis.
