Default Inspection light

Hi everyone.

I found this item the other day on Ebay.

The seller lists it as an inspection light for a Carrier/ CMP truck. I've looked through my Carrier illustrated parts manual and there isn't a very clear picture of the light. Is this item what the seller says it is.

Please give me your opinions as I would like to get it to go along with the my carrier.

Sincerly

Default It's Carrier

CMP truck ones have wooden handles and plugs that look like the back of light bulbs to fit the dash socket.

And thanks for the RHLI pictures. I gather you have a carrier and are near Hamilton?

Default thanks Bruce

Thanks Bruce

I will place a bid on it and hopefully i will win it.

Actually I don't have the carrier yet. I will hopefully get it within the first few weeks of May. I posted a picture of the one Im getting on the carrier forum under the title "Considering Purchase of Carrier"

No problem about the pictures, when I find more I will post them. Yes I do live in Hamilton and I am the Assistant Curator of the RHLI Museum. We used to have a carrier about 20 years ago and I was looking throught the archives for the manuals to borrow when I came accros the photos in an evelope.

Default Welcome, fellow Carrier addict

You have at least two carrier owners in your area that are willing to help out where they can. Right Stewart?

Default Communication troubles

Bruce,

You know that I am the helpful type.

I must have some server e-mail issues, as I never get any responce to my offers of assistance.

Did you ever hear back about that Fox ring? The fab guy is waiting to do more CMP work.

Stewart

PS - yes, that is the correct lamp for the Carrier - I even have an extra female ( if we can call them that in these politically correct days : ) connector to power it up from the drivers instrument panel.

Default Female...

...with two receiving parts. Right, best not go there.

No exact answer on the Fox ring but I am happy to go with the 2-1/4" by 1/2" ring at the proscibed diameter.

Drifting off topic from Carrier insection lamps to Fox rings. Female anatomy to Fox rings. Starting to see a pattern here and it may not be healthy.
