Default YouTube - Kellys Heroes

Hi all
I reckon I have just belatedly joined the 21st Century. I never knew about this YouTube until a few threads contained it. So I started exploring and voila I discovered one of my favourite songs. The video clip also contains all the things we like, e.g. military vehicles, guns, explosions, tanks etc. I don't know whether these downloads are expensive to the space on this site but I'll leave that up to the moderators. In the meantime if this link works, enjoy the clip.

Amazing.

I can't ever see or think of Telly Savalas without thinking of Art Johnson anymore. "Who loves you baby"

And was that a young Donald Sutherland in that video clip???

Default Donald Sutherland

Hi Kartmann
It certainly was a young Donald Sutherland. I don't know if you have ever watched the film but it's great. Donald plays a tank commander named "Oddball" and he has a great philosophy in life, he hates negative waves. If you haven't seen the film do so, it's great.

I have seen it ... but not for generations probably I don't remember it or the characters, though probably would to see some more clips. I seem to think I saw the video in Geoff's collection of videos but never watched it.

Donald Sutherland ... he's such a cool character (unique) One of my favorite actors, and bonus he happens to be Canadian

Yeah, quite the song ... those images in the video were really powerful

Clint Eastwood ... you know, I have NEVER understood Clint Eastwood's major draw. I've liked some of what he's done but I just don't understood the "oomph" he seems to have for so many people. What am I missing about him? :

Default Kellys Heroes Bloopers

This is for those that have lots of time on their hands.

Hire the video out and spend the next few hours fast forwarding, rewinding and playing.

Interesting to note the influenece of the 1970's in this movies dialog. Oddball for one, playing the stereotypical hippie of the late 60's and early 70's for one.

I have always wondered whether or not this was the writer or directors faux pas or was it intentional to relect the times of an post Vietnam anti-war America???
