Default Armoured vehicle authors wanted!

I am being sent some brand new CORGI '1945' military models to comment on for a mag...does anyone volunteer to do the honours please and write about what they think of the model and give some history? You keep the model and you get paid I gather!

What models, please? See my main web site index for vehicles covered.

Thanks,

Hi David

What sort of models I assume diecast? The project sounds interesting, I would be game to lend a hand but I am in Canada across the pond. If you still need help feel free to drop me a line.

Michael

Default Examples

Examples of Corgi military models

Because I know nothing about armoured vehicles, save CMPs, I would prefer someone who knows to comment.

I should add that I reviewed the Bedford QLR and Diamond T and trailer for HC. The QLR had a Royal Navy rego erroneously because ithe same model was used as a QLT in RN colours .

Very neat little diecast miniatures David, I have had a keen interest in AFV's and miniatures since my youth (I'll be 40 this May). If you do need someone to take up the task I would like to give it a go. Please appraise and I will provide further information as required.

Camo paint jobs and some of the actual markings are inspired by some of the Vanguard AFV books. The Canadian Churchill has the wrong main gun they show it with 75mm, it looks like they used a generic Mk III or IV Churchill and then insert your theater and year of ops at will hehe. The markings look good from what I can see but would need to look at the models closer.

The detail ie the fine features look quite nice.

Cheers

Michael

David,

I would be happy to have a go if you need someone in the UK. I have thought about purchasing one or two of these but was a bit put off by the detail errors..... However, I can be objective!
