If your truck is a Canadian one it would have been a decal on the front lower windshield.

Default CDN Shift Decal

Dave, Have you got a picture of one? I've never seen that decal even when they were in service, and am very interested. If we can find a copy, its easy to have a duplicate made.

Thanks,

Jes

My recollection of the shift pattern was the throw from 1-2 to 3-4 was almost as wide as the space between the seats, and at least 12" on the lever.

You should try it with the little shifter locating pin in the tower broken or missing.

My solution for the shifter pin problem, is to grab another cover off a spare transmission on the pile and change them out. Sooner or later, I guess I'll actually have to start fixing the problem. After awhile, you just get used to the 'mix master' shift pattern....

Here is the picture taken of the drivers front windshield and I could only make out the tire pressure and the lubrication decal but the shift pattern should be like them. I am also showing the pictures from the operators manual (J K L) so that you can see exactly what is written on the decals as well as the measurements for the two smaller ones and I am assuming the shift pattern one will be around 2" high and around 3" in length.

Thanks Dave,

I'll speak with my graphics lady and see what she says about these.
