Default M151a2 ROLL Cage CFTO

Hello

I am looking for a scanned copy of the Canadian M151A2 roll cage CFTO as well as the seat belt CFTO.

I have started the restoration of my M151A2... finally and would like a copy for when I re-install my roll cage. Plus I would like to add one to my collection and share with others locally whom also have a M151A2.

For those of you not on FB, There was a manufacture decal with SN on each roll cage.

The seat belts were from 1970's Dodge van or pickup I believe.

Thanks

Eric

Not all Rops have a serial number plate attached to them and the seat belts are ford passenger car parts.

All of them, when new, had the kitcraft plates. As to the seatbelts....definitely Dodge. One would have to look at the mod instruction again, but I'm more than positive they had the manufacturers code of 08383 (Chrusler).

Default chrysler

Hello

The serial plate was a thin metal sticker. Most fell off. I have never seen one before until I saw the photo on FB of one. Even the one on mine fell off.

I created a template of one from the photo. Feel free to use it. The Serial Number was engraved on the sticker by a hand engraver.

My original seat belt and cover have Chrysler numbers on them.

Thanks
Eric

From the parts listing:

2540-21-876-9781 p/n 4038996 (Chrysler) Seat belt assy, tip half lap and shoulder....... qty 2

2540-21-876-9779 p/n 3899351 (Chrysler) Seat belt assy, Drivers seat, Lap and shoulder, buckle half.....qty 1

2540-21-876-9779 p/n 3899248 (Chrysler) Seat belt assy, Passenger seat, Lap and shoulder, buckle half.....qty 1

2540-21-876-9778 (p/n 3899148) Cover, retractor.....qty 2

Unfortunately for the M151A2 CDN restorer, the after market does not cater to Dodges, barely caters to Chevrolet, but is pretty good to the Ford collectors. Those Chrysler belts and covers are going to be tough to find.
