4911067 - 4916949 range

Kevin,

The first group of 15 cwt are MW models.

The first of the 3 ton group is listed in the Chilwell census as a range of numbers "Not taken up", curiously.
Second range is OY 4x2, third range QL 4x4 and lastly OY 4x2

Default Mmmmmmmm....

Thanks Richard.
Curious indeed. The list comes from the War Diary of 2nd Arm'd Irish Guards. It lists Sqn, WD serial, Veh. type, crew name, rank, serial no. trade and officers and other ranks. It is supposed to be the list of vehicles prior to embarkation.
Lokks like having a closer look.

Cheers

Default New glasses and typewriter ribbon needed!

Richard,

Apologies. It was obviously type on an old manual typewriter and the numbers are worn.
For 4004454 and 4004651 read 488 and for 4011511, 4011531 and 4012723 read 491.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers
Kevin
