Default Caliver Books Experience

All,

I have bought several books from Caliver Books of Eastwood, Notts, UK. The company produces a range of books, but it is their good quality reproductions of various manuals that have been of most interest to me. Even if I have an original, I prefer to handle a repro if I'm going to be using it a lot.

Their website is at: https://caliverbooks.com/

Recently, I ordered two repro manuals, and when the parcel arrived, it had been opened/damaged while in the possession of HM Royal Mail, then re-sealed and packed in a plastic outer bag. Upon opening, it contained some sort of sales brochure for furniture - not what I had ordered! On notifying Caliver Books and providing images of the package and contents, they immediately replied to apologise, and say they would replace the books at no charge. Both manuals arrived in the mail on 16 Sept, and I was able to collect them from the PO this morning.

It was not Caliver Books fault or problem, but they stepped up and replaced the books without question. In a time where being fobbed off has become the norm, I have only praise for the way Caliver Books handled the issue. Can't get better service than that!! So if you need a repro manual, or just like military books, check out Caliver Books website, and buy with confidence.

Mike
