Malcolm,

Do you mean the Morris-Commercial C9/B (Bofors), officially known as CARRIER, SP, 4x4, 40mm AA (BOFORS) 30-cwt as in the first picture on the left?

Or do you mean the Morris-Commercial C8/MG Portee, officially known as Truck 4x4 AT Portee (2-pdr) - see second picture on thr right?

I am asking as the C8/MG Portee did not have jacks, whereas the C9/B Bofors has.

Thanks,
Hanno

C'mmon Richie, real men who drive these kinds of trucks don't get wet! Ok, maybe they sweat a little. . .

Wait until you get driving your Carrier out in the NE England weather, it will be like driving a tin bath, when it rains

Richard you have never lived till you have driven a vehicle across the causeway to Holy Island as the tide is comming in!not recommended in anything smaller than a Militant! Im sure he said it was a 9 if thats any clearer!used to have a Bofors gun on the flatbed...no can and only 1 jack left..engine complete but he hasnt tried to run it..says vehicle is complete...located Northeast scotland...this chap always has good kit as ex Reme...he was stationed at Kinegar when I was in Lisburn NI...cheers malcolm
