Default WW2 radar on Australian ships.

Found this write up but I have spotted some very bad errors in the text.

https://hmascastlemaine.org.au/Bathu...orrow-2022.pdf

The AWA AMR-100 and 101 were communications HF receivers , not VHF Talk Between Ships or ship to ship radio sets ( TBS ) as the author claims. Makes you wonder what else he got wrong .

Reading the text, the author also claims that the Bathurst class ships only had CW radio equipment fitted ( no voice or R.T. ) until late in WW2... seems unlikely to me. Most if not all HF radio sets of that time had both CW and RT forms of transmission as standard .
