I just bought this little truck in a bente auction in Britain but I have little information about it. Can you help me.
his No. series: 4,844,315,121.
It has everything a Ford but sales papers indicate that it is a Chevrolet C60L APT.

Bonsoir Fabrice,

The chassis number is Chevrolet; "8443" means 3 ton truck 4x4. So, it could indeed be a C60L APT.

Sadly, I can't see the pictures.

Is the engine 6 cylinder, or V8?

Some C60L APT info

My guess is that it is a Ford. No one would go to the trouble of re powering a chev truck witth a Ford v8.
Where is the chassis number? on a plate on the dash panel, which has come from another truck?
This truck is a 4x2, I'd say a 15cwt, which would make it an F15. (101" wheel base)

The pictures work now.....and I agree with Lynn....It looks like a Ford F15, which at some stage got the data plate of a Chev C60L APT.

Nice project!

The Serial-No is given to us by the sales documents. There are no data flat.
little can be find us the "real" Serial-No somewhere on the frame?
Can you tell me that the markings represent?

Default Serial number

The serial number should be stamped on the left side of the frame under the cab. And also on top of the clutch housing near the rear of the engine. Good luck with your project. I also agree that the truck is a Ford F15.

The GS box looks like it might be a bolted together KD unit.
