Default Jeep and C-47 loading

The Jeep at 15:00 appears to have a US reg. number 2037632, but a Aust. unit sign is visible above the number. The ramp is rather steep and the clutch would be feeling the strain ! The first Jeep is a early script WILLYS MB.

Years ago , a club member here used to attend shows with his GPA, the GPA was driven up steep ramps and loaded onto his CCKW. People would stop and look at the sight of the GPA crawling up the the short steep ramps. Well, the result of all this was a worn out clutch in the GPA.

Thanks for the video sharing Mike.
I have just finished reading Commander Eric Feldt's The Coastwatchers. Much is mentioned on resupply by air in the Jungles of the SW Pacific. The video you posted provides an understanding of what was involved.
cheers
Bill
