Default Off to Canada

I thought it's time to do a trip up to the Northern Hemisphere. You Canadians are lucky you have 4 Aussies coming your way early July.Kathy says for you to lockup all your treasures before we arrive, the people coming with us are into old green stuff as well. If you lock everything out of sight then there will be more time for quilt shopping, do you know of any good shops for quilts. We already have one request for a baby koala are there anymore aussie products we could use for bartering, perhaps we could bring some vegemite.

Leave the Vegemite at home! We can get it up here, but most of us only try it once and then shake our heads at your lack of taste buds.

Default While on the left coast...

... try to hook up with those of us in Western Command. The big event in early July is our Invasion of the USA, just across the border to Arlington. it's an airshow with a huge turnout of MV's, 140 last year. Saturday night with Canucks hosting Martini night is not to be missed!

Hello Travellers; If you are going to be in the Mount Forest area make a run down to St Jacobs - not far - but a touristy village with lots of old order mennonite type items including quilts etc. Thereis also a local quilt auction here to raise money for mennonite charities - should be able to find it on line,

Default Much to short

But you can always come back for more. You can Email us at hmoon@telus.net

I'm off work during that time, let me know what you got planned and we can see if we can work us into things. Lots to see in our fair city if you avoid the local commie politico's.

Sorry Bob about my husband you just can't trust him to do the right thing when it comes to using the computer, good thing you noticed as after all it's the Canadians that are behind us in time.

Upside down who's upside down I think we're normal.

Thanks Bob for the quilt shops we have actually been there before and I'm looking forward to another visit this time, so maybe will travel with an empty bag or two.

Kathy

I reckon I'd need more than Ollie and the pitchfork to stand watch Max.

Harry, be sure to acquaint our guests to some of Granville Island Brewery's (Canada's original Micro-brewery) products. That'll make them forget all about Foster's Larger (spelled phonetically).

CHEEMO!

We aussies don't drink Fosters, that's why it's sold overseas. We only drink the good stuff(although we don't even drink beer).

John we'll give you a ring when we arrive and try and go for a drive your way to catchup.

Default packing our bags

Well our trip is about to start, I know we've been a bit slack with our postings but we've been busy trying to get things organised on the farm before we go. Harry if you can send us your phone number we can give you a ring when we arrive over there. It will be sometime after 7.30am on the 29th June. We arrive in Toronto on Sunday the 3 July and head straight for Holstein.

Jon Skagfield I think we still have your number and will giove you a ring, looking forward to catching up after all these years.

Anyone else is welcome to pass on their phone numbers as we can catch up with them as well.

Max
