Default 15cwt bodies

Hi Justin
I see you've found my C15 page!

The basic difference is the first one is a Canadian designed and built body; the second is an Australian designed body built by General Motors-Holden.

When posting images, it's good form to credit (and link to) pics from other sites when you post them

This is from my C15A page and shows a number 2 Australian body with valances over the wheel arch.

This image from the same page shows the earlier version without the valances.

The canvas roof on these pages is unique to Australian built trucks and is called the "Sunshine roof".

first off, sorry about the whole page citing thing. i'm a vet of other online forums for my hobbies, and i'm not used to going through those motions until someone asks (great for sparking discussion). although i totally understand, so from now on i shall link and give credit to the sites i get my photos from.
(the other photo i posted is from the MLU site, as we all know).

so yeah, thanks for the answer. I saw that one of the captions on one of your pages (love the site, by the way...i've been into CMPs for the past month or so and have discovered a lot of lovely sites out there, yours included) has "(Aust)", and guessed at it's being Australian.
and now i'm sure, thank you!

where did the Canadian-built ones stow shovels and picks, if they carried them?

thanks a lot, and just wanted to say to all of those who participate in this forum that you are doing very well! i'm a 1/35 and 1/6 hobbyist and in the past year many of the inter-related sites (CMP and UC-related, etc.) have come very much in handy. great resources around here.
