Default Corps and Army level Service Corps Markings

Did the red/green diagonal slash on corps and Army level Service corps unit signs in WW II go from top right to bottom left, or from top left to bottom right?

I see that divisional level units had the slash from top right to bottom left, but some web pages I saved from a defunct website show that corps and army levels had the slash the opposite. Was this an error? I am looking in Bouchery and see no comments on this either way.

Did divisional level units always get the direction correct, come to that?

Default Re: Corps and Army level Service Corps Markings

Michael;

The AoS for the RCASC ran top left to bottom right (Green left/Red right). The AoS for the RASC ran top right to bottom left (Red left/Green right).

A lot of the Service Corps assets from Army level up were from the RASC, due to the simple fact that we did not have the resources to provide the units/formations required. Hope this answers your question.

Cheers
