Saracen Mine Roller
Does anyone have any more pictures or info on this unusual saracen equiped with mine rollers in Oman during the 1970s?

Not sure if it was in Oman, but in that area somewhere, a Stalwart was regularly driven up and down the runway every morning checking for mines laid overnight. If one was found it usually resulted in a wheel station being blown off. REME would put it back together, ready for the next time. Should have said, the driver was fully strapped in..........bet that was a nerve wracking job

...what about the mines between the small rolls of the clearance equipment.... those which will be hit by the tires of the Ferret?
