On behalf of Andrew Jones and myself I would like to say that we are both saddened by his passing.

Wilf was a character in his own right and we had the pleasure of having Wilf join us one summer on a memorable trip from Kingston to Morrisburg and back with a variety of kit including two Bedford trucks.

Wilf took to the Bedfords like a duck to water and was a constant source of hilarity for the weekend and a larger than life character all around. He is on the right in this picture.

Thinking about you Wilf

Default obituary - 'Wilf' Alexander

http://www.canadianobituaries.com/pe...ctober-21-2016

Quote:
ALEXANDER, Wilfred Andrew 'Wilf' - It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Wilf Alexander on October 21, 2016.
Wilf was a proud and dedicated volunteer for many years with St. John’s Ambulance, Durham Regional Police Auxillary, and most recently was proud Captain at Station 3 OSM Fire Services.
He leaves behind his wife Carol, daughter Nicole (Jim), sister-in-law Christine Galler (Mike) and their daughters Brooke and Brittany, brother-in-law Bill Jost (Carol) and their family, and parents-in-law Wilhelm and Margarete Jost.
He will be missed by many other family members, co-workers, and friends.
At Wilf’s request, cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to an Animal Humane Society or Rescue Shelter of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted with Benson-Shields funeral homes, Millbrook.

Very sorry to hear of his passing.

He rode with me once back from the OMVA Milton swap meet to my grandparents place along with a couple other vehicles following. Much to their displeasure he and I were chatting so much about the hobby that we passed about 4-5 Tim Hortons on the way as neither of us were paying much attention.

Default Not another one!!!!!!

Getting to be fearfull of opening MLU for apprehension of more bad news. The worst part is that they are all unexpected and younger than I am.....

My condolences to the family. He will be missed by many. I have fond memories of Bill, his visits to the barn and his generous sense of humour.
